SWIFT SKATE PARK**
On July 16, 2006 Team FacePlant headed to Swift skate park in downtown Vancouver, Washington. Swift skate park is the first skate park that we ever went to as Team FacePlant. And to tell you the truth, I wasn't very impressed at all. It takes a certain style of skating to be able to conquer the chunky concrete transitions. It's not much of a street course. Most of it is bowls and quarter pipes. John seemed to be able to find some good flow as he skated the park. It's kind of in a shady part of Vancouver with some shady kind of people. Don't get me wrong, shady people need Jesus, too. It's just that the shady people I saw were drunk homeless people getting in fights with eachother. The cool thing is that we started our FacePlant Skate Tour here. I give Swift skate park a TWO STAR rating.
