How long have you worked with the youth at FacePlant Ministries? Before it was F.P. I've been helping out here since Fall 2003.

What is your favorite thing about FacePlant? How real people are and how open they are about their faith.

What are your gifts, calling, passions? The outdoors, people, experiencial teaching, leading people to experience life and God and learn to grow in life and faith.

Where to from here? Camp Davidson. God has opened the door for me to live my dream job - working with youth in the outdoors.

Where to from here? Being a mommy and moving to Camp Davidson.

What is your favorite thing about FacePlant? Seeing kids get excited about learning about the Lord!

What are your gifts, calling, passions? Gifts: encouragement/exhortation, teaching. Calling: urban ministry w/kids, missions. Passions: Worship, outdoor activities.

Where to from here? * Continue teaching 5th grade at Hazel Dell. * Started my Master of Ed. degree part time at WSUV.

How long have you worked with the youth at FacePlant Ministries? 3 years.

What is your favorite thing about FacePlant? Seeing changed hearts and changed lives, and being encouraged and inspired by so many young people who are so in love with Jesus Christ.

What are your gifts, calling, passions? Music, kids, teach and mentor, homeless and impoverished families, partnering with God to free people from sexual sin and substance abuse.

.

Where to from here? I'm off to school at WWU where I'll be a small group leader with the on-campus ministry. And I'll be maintaining my room as a safe and substance -free party place called "The Treehouse." I'll be living on and loving on the area of campus called, "The Ridge," the spiritually darkest place on campus. It's gonna be intense!

How long have you worked with the youth at FacePlant Ministries? Since the beginning - with a little break in the middle.

What is your favorite thing about FacePlant? That it reaches out to the young people in a way that is culturally relevant.

What are your gifts, calling, passions? I love kids and I also have a passion for discipleship and growing leaders to reach the world.

Where to from here? I am going to be an administrative assistant for Kairos (which is a discipleship school). I will be living in Kansas for the next year.

FacePlant Youth Staff Spotlights.

Once a month or so I will be having a "FacePlant Youth Staff Spotlight" on this blog. I am so appreciative of the volunteer youth staff that God has blessed us with here at FacePlant Ministries. I think that it would be good for everyone to get to know these awesome individuals who sacrifice a lot of their time for the Kingdom of God to be furthered here in Vancouver, Washington. Coming to an end of this summer, we have 6 staff members who will be moving on to other things. In the following blog entries, you can get to know them better.
