New Middle School and High School Youth Pastor

ANDREW YOUNG TAKES THE REINS ON TUESDAY NIGHTS.

I have passed the buck. There is a new youth pastor who has taken leadership of our Tuesday night middle school and high school youth groups. His name is Andrew Young. Andrew is an awesome individual who is excited about youth ministry. In the past, Andrew has interned in youth ministry at a couple of different churches in the area. He is in a killer local Christian band called "The New Divide" and also owns "Break Of Day Records," A Christian record label. Andrew has transitioned into the youth pastor position beginning last month at the beginning of February. He and the staff are working on a new name for the middle school and high school youth groups, as well as their own MySpace page and web-log. As soon as they have those up and running I will put a link to them on this web-log. Tuesday nights is our more traditional youth ministry at Whipple Creek Church and while in one sense FacePlant Ministries will be working hand-in-hand with the Tuesday night youth ministry, it will be it's own entity. For time being I will continue to be the youth pastor at FacePlant Ministries which consists of SkateChurch on Thursday nights from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. I am excited about the connections that have already been made between Andrew and the middle school and high school students. If you want to get deeper in your relationship with Jesus Christ and want to come out to a youth group that IS NOT focused on skateboarding, please come out on Tuesday nights. Middle School meets from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. High School meets from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm every Tuesday night. There is worship, prayer, Bible teaching, games, fellowship and small group interaction.
